Candirejo and Borobudur Temple cycling tour (PVT)
The day starts with a beautiful cycling tour through a nice landscape until Candirejo. This traditional village will give you a first idea about the Javanese culture. After spending some time and getting in touch to the local people we will continue to visit Borobudur, the famous temple. Over the centuries, this temple was covered by the jungle and volcanic ash, being rediscovered in the 19th century, by the British governors of the province and was enrolled in UNESCO’s patrimony. Today it’s the most visited monument in Indonesia and a place of pilgrimage for the Buddhists.
In the afternoon, you will return to your hotel.

Prambanan temple visit (PVT)
Again, the day starts with a soft cycling tour to visit the Prambanan temple. Sacred to Trimurti, the temple was built in the 9th century, on the ground of an older temple. Prambanan is one of the largest Hindu temples in South East Asia, with a specific high-form construction style, with a 47 meters high main body. The Prambanan Temple is on the UNESCO Heritage List and has recently undergone a renovation and research process; the first restoration began in 1930. On its walls one can admire bas-reliefs that depict aspects of the reincarnation of the supreme Hindu goddess Vishnu or narrate different legends such as Ramayana.

City Sightseing Tour Yogyakarta (PVT)
Afterwards you will be transferred back to Yogyakarta where you will join a City Sightseeing Tour, visiting the famous Sultan Palace and the Water Castle known as Taman Sari. Built between 1756 and 1790, the Sultan Palace is a classic example of Javanese architectural style. You will then visit the Taman Sari Water Castle, built 200 years ago by the first sultan of Java for his harem. Yogyakarta is also famous for its unique Batik art – witness first-hand the work of local artists.

After breakfast, you will travel to Bromo. First you will take the train to Jombang and then to Bromo by car. Enjoy the scenic drive and get a better impression of the daily life in Indonesia. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Bromo.

Visit Mount Bromo (PVT)
Today in the very morning a jeep is waiting for you to bring you close to the crater of Mount Bromo. There you will witness one of the most beautiful sunrises you have ever seen. Enjoy the mystique and stunning nature.

Transfer Bromo – Kalibaru (PVT)
After returning back to your hotel you will continue to Kalibaru.
The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Visit a local plantation (PVT)
In the morning, you will visit a local plantation. There you cannot only see the farming of coffee, cloves, vanilla and other rare plants but also see a local rubber production.

Transfer Kalibaru – Banyuwangi by train
After that interesting morning, you have the chance to go on a very basic but unforgettable train ride to Banyuwangi. It will definitely bring you a big step closer to the local people and show you another side of Indonesia. After that you will be brought to your hotel in Banyuwangi.

Trekking Mount Ijen (PVT)
After an early breakfast, you will go on a beautiful trekking tour to the crater of Mt. Ijen, crossing through unique landscapes and meeting locals carrying the baskets full of yellow sulfate stones.

Transfer Banyuwangi – Sanur (PVT)
After returning to the hotel and checking out you can enjoy a scenic drive starting from Banyuwangi, crossing over to Gilimanuk in Bali and along the west coast to the south of Bali until you reach your hotel in Sanur.
