Transfer Kuching – Batang Ai (SIC)
Meet your driver guide at the hotel lobby for your journey to Batang Ai passing through scenic countryside consisting of quaint little towns, villages, padi fields, pepper and oil palm plantations interspersed with secondary and virgin jungle as the road starts to wind and undulate as you go deeper into the interior. Upon arrival at the Hydro Lake at Lubok Antu, board a shuttle ferry to the resort situated on the southern bank.

Semenggoh Nature Reserve visit (SIC)
En-route make a stop at Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, the best place in Sarawak to view semi-wild orang utans, who have been rescued from captivity and trained to survive in the surrounding forest reserve. The rehabilitated animals roam freely in the rain forest, and often return to the centre at feeding time. Thanks to the successful breeding program at Semenggoh there is a good possibility of experiencing one of the most heart-warming sights in Borneo an orang utan mother with a young baby. The centre is 30 minutes’ drive from Kuching and another 20 minutes on foot. Along the way visitors pass by the ethno-botanical gardens, with their unique collection of rain-forest plants. Semenggoh also has a number of short jungle trails and optional forest walks can be incorporated into the tour.
Note: As the orang utan in Semenggoh are semi-wild, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Lunch
Stop for lunch at Lachau, a small town on the way to the resort.

Dinner
Dinner will be provided at the resort.

Have an early breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant.

Mengkak Longhouse visit (SIC)
After breakfast, depart for Mengkak Longhouse by motorized native longboat. The journey will take you across the lake into the Engkari River, one of the many tributaries flowing into the lake. The journey will take around 30 minutes before reaching Mengkak Longhouse nestled on a hill beside the river. Enjoy a short cultural performance by the inhabitant of the longhouse followed by a blow pipe demonstration.

Lunch
After having lunch at a local restaurant, free at leisure until your return back to the Resort via the same route.

Dinner
Dinner will be provided at the resort.

Transfer Batang Ai – Kuching (SIC)
After breakfast, depart for Kuching via the same route as your arrival.

Lunch
Stop for lunch at a small roadside town before continuing your journey to Kuching.

Transfer hotel – airport in Kuching (SIC)
You will be transferred to Kuching airopot for your onward flight.

Flight Kuching – Sandakan

Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre Visit (SIC)
Meet upon arrival at the Sandakan Airport, proceed with transfer for 30 minutes to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. At this centre, observe man’s closest relative “the Orang Utan” being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat and experience a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest of Borneo. Proceed to the free roaming area feeding platform for the feeding sessions of Orang Utans. Next, continue your visit to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. The centre helps to improve the living condition of the rescued sun bear and released to its natural behaviours in the 2.5ha enclosed forest.

Transfer to hotel (SIC)
After the Orang Utans visit, proceed to the lodge for overnight.

Transfer to jetty (SIC)
You will be transfered to jetty in Sandakan for scheduled boat which departs at 1200hrs.

Boat Cruise to Abai with lunch (SIC)
Depart from the Sepilok Centre and transfer to jetty in Sandakan for scheduled boat.
Take an hour boat cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary and you will be having your lunch at Abai Jungle Restaurant. This wonderful journey of discovery starts from the waters of Sulu Sea of Sandakan Town through a magnificent scenery of the Mangrove Forest.

Night Cruise (SIC)
Later in the afternoon, you’ll be experiencing another boat cruise to search for wildlife until sunsets while enjoying a cup of coffee and by night falls, continue the night cruise to witness the fireflies lights up like a Christmas tree.

Dinner
Return to the lodge for dinner. After dinner, continue your adventure by experiencing the “Jungle at night” at our nature boardwalk to search for birds, snakes, insects and other wildlife with our nature guide.

Morning River Trip (SIC)
Wake up by the calls of nature and take an early morning river trip to Pitas lake to
observe wildlife and experience the unique of Pitas lake.

Breakfast
After morning river cruise, enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.

Lunch
You will be briefed about the Tree Planting Project and the Most Beautiful House Competition. You will be given options to have lunch either at Abai Village special prepared by the villagers or at the Abai Jungle Restaurant.

Transfer Sandakan – Sukau by boat
After lunch, cruise through the river to Sukau Village in search of primates such as the wild orang utan, birds, pygmy elephant and other wildlifes.

Menanggul River cruise (SIC)
Later in the afternoon, take another boat cruise to Menanggul River, a small tributary of the Kinabatangan.

Enjoy your dinner at the lodge.

Transfer Sukau – Sandakan (SIC)
After breakfast, transfer via boat back to Sandakan.

Lunch
Upon arrival at the jetty, proceed with transfer for lunch before dropping off at Sandakan Airport for onwards flight.

Flight Sandakan – Kuala Lumpur

Upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur Airport, you’ll be waited by the driver and transferred to the hotel.

Half day city tour Kuala Lumpur (PVT)
Visit the National Mosque or in Malay the Masjid Negara, which is the most distinguished mosque in KL. You will also pass the Moorish-styled Federal Court, the old Railway station which is a striking piece of Mohammedan architecture, the Tudor-styled Cricket Club and Independence Square.
