Lumbini it’s the place where Regina Mayadevi gave birth to Shakya Prince Siddharta Gautama – Buddha (in 623 ien.) It’s considered a holy shore for Buddhists such as Jerusalem for Christians and Mecca for Muslims. Among the most important buildings of the area are the Temple of Mayadevi and Puskarini – the Holy Lake where it is said that it was first bathed by the Buddha. Lumbini was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997.

The capital city of Nepal – Kathmandu is located in the valley of the same name at the base of the Himalayan Mountains. The Kathmandu Valley is also called the 7 Monuments Area; here are also the religious complexes Swayambhu, Bauddhanath, Pashupati and Changu Narayan. The city is distinguished by picturesque and brightly colored bazaars. The Kathmandu Valley hosts three historic cities and cultural centers: Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur.

The peak of Everest is now the highest point on Earth, with a height of 8,848 m. In Nepal the name of the mountain is Sagarmatha (Mother of the ocean), and in Tibet is known as Chomolungma (mother of the universe). The English name, Everest, was given in honor of the British topographer Sir George Everest. in 1865, the Royal Geographical Society officially adopted the name “Mount Everest” as the name of the world’s highest mountain.

Located 4 km from Kathmandu, Swayambhunath is one of the most beautiful objectives to be seen in Kathmandu. On all four sides at the base of the tower are painted Buddha’s all-seeing eyes. From the top of the hill where Swayambhunath stands up, you will have a wonderful panoramic view of the valley.
